Nigerian famous designer Toyin Lawani has spoken up about her emotional and difficult pregnancy journey as she marks her daughter Tinuke Eleora’s third birthday.
Toyin expressed her sincere thanks for her daughter Tinuke in a post on her Instagram page, calling her her “miracle baby.”
She described the trying times when medical professionals told her that her degenerative spine disease would prevent her from carrying her pregnancy to term.
Toyin was heartbroken by this news and sobbed nonstop for three days.
Toyin asserts that she persisted in her pregnancy despite the dire prognosis and the significant effects on her health.
She chose to endure the pain, determined to bring her child into the world. Today, she looks back with relief and joy, proud of the strength it took to pull through those dark times.
“Happy birthday to my miracle baby @kingtinukeleora, aka Bossbaby,” Toyin wrote.
“I’m so grateful you chose me to be your mom. I remember the day my doctors told me I couldn’t carry you to term due to the degenerative spine disease. I cried for three days nonstop because I was far gone already. But I didn’t give up, and nothing they told me could sway me to part ways with you, even though it affected my health so badly.”
Toyin expressed her deep love and admiration for Tinuke, who she describes as a mature and fashion-savvy child beyond her years.
“You always eat fashion up like a piece of cake. People see you and think you are five because of how mature you act. Welcome to the third floor, my mummy.”
In honour of Tinuke’s birthday, the family took a trip to Bristol to celebrate, with Toyin promising to share the fun moments with her followers.
She also announced a giveaway to mark the special day, encouraging fans to participate.
