A viral video showing Nigerian music star 2Baba dancing intimately with his estranged wife, Annie Macaulay Idibia, has stirred widespread reactions across social media.
The clip, which surfaced online on Friday, shows the pair dancing closely in a nightclub to 2Baba’s hit song Amaka featuring Peruzzi.
The video quickly gained attention, with many users questioning whether it was recently recorded or an old clip that had resurfaced.
The footage emerged more than a year after the couple’s separation became public in January 2025, when 2Baba announced the end of their marriage.
The singer later confirmed his relationship with Natasha Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly. He proposed to her in February 2025, and the pair got married in a private ceremony in July the same year. They dedicated their first child together in church in February 2026.
2Baba has consistently maintained that his relationship with Natasha was not the reason for his separation from Annie.
The resurfaced video has divided social media users, with many trying to determine when it was recorded.
While some fans expressed hope that the pair may have reconciled, others criticised Annie over the possibility of reuniting with “a man who publicly humiliated” her.
“I really hope that video of Annie and 2 face together at the club is old. I will be so mad and disappointed,” one X user wrote.
“That 2baba and Annie’s video gotta be old; when its not that they’re helping me to do Annie from home,” another user posted.
Others insisted the footage appeared to be old, while some questioned whether it was generated by artificial intelligence.
