Actress and Big Brother Naija reality show star Venita Akpofure appears to have responded to recent comments made about their relationship by her ex-lover, Adekunle Olopade.

Remember While in Big Brother’s house, Adekunle had apologised for dating Venita.

In the most recent episode of the “Deks & Friends” podcast, Adekunle reflected on his experience entering the Big Brother Naija house and apologised for his romance with Venita. In his own words:

“If there is anything I could change about my time in the house, it would be me getting into a relationship. That was not part of my plan.”

Seemingly reacting to the remarks in a post on her official account on the microblogging X platform, Venita urged Adekunle to move on with his life and let her be. Pleading with him, she wrote:

“Please MOVE ON in the name of Jesus Amen.”

In another story, Venita Akpofure reacted on social media to a fan who objected to her seductive pictures in her most recent rap video, “Gen Z Cypher,” which features Magnito.

The Nigerian model and actress, who cited the legendary singer as an inspiration for embracing her own sexuality, refused to be embarrassed for expressing herself through some of the roles she performed in the video and the outfits she wore.

A fan had criticised Venita’s display of nudity in the comments section after she posted a portion of the video on her X account in which she was skimpily clothed.

The social media user thought it was disgraceful for Venita, a mother of three, to display nudity.

He wrote:

“Person wey get three pikin for house see wetin she wear her shame dey shame me.”

In response, Venita stated that she was emulating her role model, Beyoncé, a multi billionaire household name who is also a mother of three but performs in bodysuits.

She wrote:

“My dear I no Dey shame, keep your shame for yourself, I go Dey follow my Beyoncé jejely de go. Who also has 3 kids, wears bodysuits to perform and is billionaire household name. Go hard = Venita . Go home = you.”
