Veteran Nollywood actor, Columbus Irosanga is dead

Nollywood has once again lost one of its best performers With the untimely death of legendary thespian Columbus Irosanga.

Amidst speculation of his passing, legendary actress Hilda Dukobo sent a heartfelt message on her Instagram page confirming his passing.

She wrote:

“There can’t be shortage of Angels in heaven that the few here are called home like this na! This one is heavy on Uniport, Rivers state, Nollywood.”

“Our uncle Coli @colu_mbusirisoanga has gone to be with the lord. Ikoli eh dein na mu.”

In other news, a video showed the veteran movie stars, Victor Osuagwu and Columbus Irosanga at an event.

Known for his native doctor roles in movies, Irosanga is seen seated beside Victor Osuagwu as they converse.

Speaking, Osuagwu described Irosanga as his uncle and lecturer, stating that he’s a very prominent figure in Nollywood.

Irosanga on his part smiled while Osuagwu spoke greatly of him.

However, during their conversation, a lady bumped in, saying that she was Irosanga’s student.

The actors went on to joke about the lady’s interruption. Osuagwu asked Irosanga who the lady was and he referred to her as a ‘Valentine Girl’.

Infusing humour in their convo, he asked Irosanga what would have happened if she had interrupted them in a shrine and in response, Irosanga noted that she would be used for sacrifice.
