Grammy-winning Nigerian artist Burna Boy has fulfilled his promise by providing financial assistance to Bethel Okechukwu, a phone repairer from Alaba Market, who claims to be the brother of socialite Cubana Chief Priest.
This act of generosity comes during Burna Boy’s ongoing dispute with the socialite.
Earlier, the singer posted a video of Okechukwu, emphasizing his financial struggles, and vowed to give him $30,000. Okechukwu also shared his intention to open a shop with the funds and promised to keep Burna Boy updated on his progress.
In a recent update, the singer has honored his commitment, bringing joy and gratitude to Okechukwu.
On Instagram, Okechukwu expressed his thanks to Burna Boy for helping him rise above poverty, urging Nigerians to join him in celebrating the artist’s generosity.
He said, “God is real, Odogwu @burnaboygram, God has used you to pull me out from poverty. I will be forever grateful. Please, people, help me thank him for me.”
