[VIDEO] “Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for DNA” – Yomi Fabiyi

Actor Yomi Fabiyi has come up to share his position on the ongoing familial crisis with the late Mohbad and DNA of his son Liam.

Yomi Fabiyi examines the veracity of Mohbad’s relatives’ request for DNA testing in a recent interview with TVC News.

According to Fabiyi, Mohbad’s father has the right to request a DNA test in order to establish his grandchild’s paternity.

He brought up Mohbad’s bereaved spouse’s legal requirement to submit to a DNA test if the courts so direct. He went on to say that nobody is above suspicion in the ongoing legal processes.

He shed light on the emotional disturbance that Mohbad’s father endures and the necessity for clarity in this matter, highlighting the significance of the DNA test in providing much-needed closure.

He stated:

“Mohbad’s family has the right to ask for a DNA. His dad is carrying the burden of pain. He wants closure. The wife can’t say no if the court gives a verdict for her to do it. Everybody is a suspect in this case”.

Recall that Yomi Fabiyi wrote an open letter addressed to the widow of the deceased Nigerian singer, Wunmi, amid the current DNA saga.

A DNA test was requested after Mohbad’s death in order to establish the fatherhood of Liam, his son.

Mr. Joseph Aloba, Mohbad’s father, urged that the singer not be buried again until the results of the DNA test were known.

However, Wunmi insisted that her father-in-law obtain a court order before the DNA test could be carried out.

She recently said that Mohbad never questioned his paternity, thus she wouldn’t put her son through the test.

Yomi Fabiyi used his Instagram page to address the current dispute and give Wunmi an explanation for why she might think about getting a DNA test.

He stressed that she would have to take the test in order to become a custodian of the estate prior to Liam’s coming of age, since Liam might inherit his father’s inheritance.
