Nigerian artist Qudus Fakoya Oluwadamilare, often known as Qdot, has melted hearts online by surprising his father with a brand-new car.
In the heartwarming moment, which was caught on camera and went viral, Qdot shows his father the car, and his eyes well up with tears and happiness.
According to the video, Qdot had tricked his father into believing he couldn’t afford the automobile at the time, setting up the surprise.
Instead of expressing disappointment, his father calmly requested a smaller car to use in the meantime, patiently waiting for his son’s promise to be fulfilled.
Qdot, deeply moved by his father’s understanding, praised him for never pressuring him for money, even during difficult times.
Upon receiving the gift, Qdot’s father embraced him with gratitude, offering prayers for his son’s success and reflecting on the respect he receives because of his son’s music career.
The touching video has gone viral, with fans applauding Qdot’s for his heartwarming gesture.
Captioning the video the singer wrote;
“I have always wanted to change his previous car but due to some personal challenges and also the inflation of things in the country today I had to take a slower but definite means to make this happen and I am so glad and thankful to God that I could make this happen before the end of the year,
The world today hardly appreciates the efforts of a provider, a protector and a non judgemental confidant (FATHERS) I mean we love our mothers but even though we don’t express our love for our fathers the way we do for our moms we all know deep in our hearts the selfless sacrifices our fathers make for us to have a life they never had, God bless you and give you good health and long life for me and ours and the good of everyone around you.
