Veteran Nigerian actor Stephen Alajemba, popularly known as Uwaezuoke or Nwaude Nwakpuda, has revealed details about his childhood, shedding light on the differential treatment he received during that period for certain reasons.

The accomplished actor was recently showcased on yankontentfactory, where he discussed his early years and shared how his facial appearance and physical stature subjected him to consistent ridicule from others.

Uwaezuoke disclosed that his father had fathered 11 children, and curiously, whenever any of the male offspring reached the age of 25, they would inexplicably pass away.

At 66 years old, he reminisced about how the entire community initially celebrated his birth with excitement, only to recoil when they first laid eyes on him.

Uwaezuoke shared that people consistently made excuses to avoid seeing or holding him, resulting in his mother never receiving any gifts from them.

The comedic actor, primarily involved in Igbo films and Pidgin, highlighted that women tend to lose interest upon seeing his face and stature. Nonetheless, he asserted his belief that no one surpasses him except God.
