“We’ll all die like flies”, Charly Boy warns of worsening hardship under Tinubu ahead of 2027 elections
Veteran entertainer and activist has delivered a strong caution to Nigerians about the nation’s future under as the 2027 elections approach.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the outspoken figure suggested that the current economic challenges facing citizens could deteriorate further if the president is re-elected.
“Nigerian youths, what is our plan against 2027 if Bola Tinubu rigs it? If this man comes back, we will be dying like flies. The hardship about to hit us will be demonic. If we like, we should still be negotiating with rice,” he wrote.
Charly Boy, who openly backed , the former Labour Party presidential candidate, during the last election, also warned against exchanging votes for temporary relief items such as rice and other palliatives.
His comments have since triggered mixed reactions on social media. While some users agreed with his concerns over inflation and the rising cost of living, others felt his remarks were overstated.
