What I’d be doing if I wasn’t a musician – Wizkid

Nigerian music superstar Wizkid, real name Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, revealed an intriguing insight into his life’s journey during an interview.

He disclosed that he would have pursued a football career if he hadn’t become a singer.

He continued by saying that he participated actively in the football squad while in school. But he gave up the sport because he was impatient and disliked early morning workouts.

Wizkid went on to say how much he admired his footballing colleagues for their persistent commitment to their craft. He revealed that even though they go out on the weekends together, they frequently abstain from alcohol and tobacco in favour of their early training sessions.

In another aspect of his life, Wizkid revealed his unconventional approach to security. Unlike many celebrities, he claimed that he doesn’t travel with bodyguards. Instead, he trusts his management team, considering them family, ranging from his manager, Sunday Are to Jada Pollock (his baby mama and member of his management team).
