Popular Nigerian social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, also referred to as Verydarkman, has provided clarification over the N100 million donation he recently received from Don Jazzy, a music executive.
On social media, the news of Don Jazzy’s kind donation to Verydarkman’s recently founded non-governmental organisation has garnered a lot of interest.
Verydarkman issued a statement saying:
“Let it be known that on the 16th of October 2024, this man, named Michael Collins Ajereh Aka Don Jazzy, donated 100 million naira to give public school kids advanced education with the aim to provide them with a good educational foundation.”
He further emphasized that Don Jazzy’s support stemmed from his belief in his humanitarian efforts.
Recalling their brief encounter, Verydarkman added:
“We met once, shook hands, and that was it. We didn’t even talk for one minute; it’s not like he knows my background or anything.”
This clarification comes in response to skepticism from some quarters, particularly after other public figures, including Bobrisky, commented on the donation, questioning Verydarkman’s connection to Don Jazzy.
