The Nigerian socialite Cubana Chief Priest has talked candidly about his difficulties obtaining a visa to the United States.

The 43-year-old music promoter revealed in an interview with Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds that mistakes he made when applying for a visa in the first place have still made it difficult for him to enter the US.

Cubana blamed some individual who filled out his visa application form when he was younger for the problem.

He claimed that these mistakes consistently come up in interviews, therefore preventing him from getting a visa.

Citing the lifestyle accounts of his friend Davido, Cubana also stated his wish to experience life in the United States.

“I have been denied access to America. If I had a visa to enter Yankee today it would be a dream come true. Somebody filled my form when I was much younger and was trying to get into America. Some mistakes were coming up during interviews. And I think they have it on their system. Anytime I came it kept popping up,” he said.

“David tells me about America and the lifestyle. It is something I want to experience. I hope very soon I am going to get access to get into Yankee.”

In a different story, Cubana Chief Priest spoke out about his widely known dispute with Burna Boy, an Afrofusion artist.

The socialite had come under fire from Burna Boy, who called him a “low-budget Rick Ross.” In response, Cubana asserted that Burna Boy’s association with troubled rapper Diddy was connected to his Grammy victory.

In an interview with Channels TV’s Rubbin Minds, the nightlife entrepreneur blamed envy for the distance between him and Burna Boy.

He asserted that Burna Boy is jealous of his close bond with another well-known rapper, Davido. He maintained that Burna Boy wants him to rejoin his group.

Despite their rift, Cubana acknowledged that he and Burna Boy were once close friends. He attributed their falling out to Burna Boy’s newfound success after signing with Atlantic Records, which created distance between them.

He also expressed his willingness to reconcile with Burna Boy but emphasized that both parties must be ready to put the past behind them.

“I was on my own when he hit me hard. We used to be close friends until after Atlantic Records. Until he became more bigger and so the reach was no longer there. I withdrew and I kept doing my thing. I have musicians around me. That is my business. I am a show promoter,” he said.

“My relationship with David is what a lot of people are not happy with. The way I promote David. This is what every artiste wants for themselves. That is the reason. I feel he is jealous. Because he does not have anyone by his side that has my kind of energy. I feel he wants me by his side but I am long gone.

“Because David has been there for me. David opened my club in Owerri. David opened my club in Asaba. David my hotel in Owerri. He opened my house. This December, David was in Asaba for me. We are deep.

“What he posted was too bad. I am a businessman. And people watched me grow year by year. So, you are not going to come and throw jabs at my business or personality. I know because he knew we were on the same status that is why he is fighting me because I did nothing to him. Me and David have never discussed anything about you because all of us used to be friends. I value your success. I am proud of him.”
