Comedian and movie actor Bovi Ugboma has revealed his secret to remaining married.
Bovi stated that he feels lucky when it comes to love and marriage in an interview with media personality VJ Adams. He also declared that he thinks most marriages end up being luckier than planned.
Although Bovi claimed he doesn’t take himself too seriously, he acknowledged that he still gets pressured and worries occasionally and that he has learnt to accept things day by day.
The comedian made the observation that although there can never be a flawless marriage, love for one another’s flaws can lead to perfection.
Bovi stated that he isn’t the type of person who will stay in a place that isn’t conducive, hence, his reason for saying he is lucky in marriage. In his words:
“One day at a time, and don’t take yourself too seriously. I am lucky when it comes to marriage. I think most marriages have to do with luck before any form of planning comes into play. So, I think I am lucky.
I have learned not to take things too personally, but that doesn’t mean I don’t get pushed or worried. There is no perfect marriage but perfection comes from loving the imperfection.
I am not the type of person who will stay in a place that isn’t conducive, so that’s why I said I am lucky to be where I am, but, for many years, I was doing this one thing at a time, and I am a giver by nature.
I am lucky to have her and her wanting to have me, and wanting to have each other and make it work”.
