Popular singer Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, has finally responded to flirty remarks made about her by producer-turned-blogger Samklef and coworker Brymo.
Remember After acknowledging that he had forced Simi to have sex while she was single before they could collaborate on music, Brymo caused a stir last year.
He claimed that after she turned down his request, he turned down her offer of cooperation.
Comparably, contentious producer Samklef recently acknowledged that, back when they were both fledgling artists, he was in love with Simi.
In response, Simi stated that she couldn’t take what Brymo and Samklef had to say about her seriously and that it was pointless in a recent interview with Angela Yee.
The mother of one said she is confused about their rhetoric and considers their actions as comedy.
In Simi’s words:
“I don’t know what these people [Brymo and Samklef] are going on about. The funny thing is that these are two different people and I don’t know why they keep talking about me like that. When you even look at what they’re saying, you can’t even pick out anything. I’m still confused.
“I just feel like it doesn’t matter to me. It doesn’t change anything. My husband is speaking out for me, he is fighting for his woman as he would. I don’t feel anything about this. It doesn’t impact me. I don’t have anything to hide. If you’re going to post that you asked me out and so what? Or that I had an ex [laughs]. The whole thing to me, is more comedy than anything else.”
Recall that Samklef came under fire from singer Adekunle Gold for criticising his wife Simi for being “ungrateful.”
Samklef had sparked a heated debate, airing his long-standing frustrations about what he considers to be a lack of appreciation from Ric Hassani and Simi, two musicians he claims he was instrumental in helping to develop in their early stages of careers.
He is especially critical of Simi, whom he holds responsible for a well-planned set-up that exposed him to public derision on the now-defunct Twitter platform (now known as “x”).
Tensions erupted as Samklef demanded an apology from Simi, and her husband AG Baby quickly criticised Samklef for his demands.
Rather, he gave Samklef a sharp warning, imploring him to give up his childish ways and adopt adulthood.
