American rapper, Alyssa Michelle Stephens, popularly known as Latto disclosed the reason she underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift, (BBL) surgery at 21.

The smash song “Put It On Da Floor Again” singer revealed that she felt compelled by her fans to have BBL surgery.

Speaking in a recent video message posted on her social media pages, Latto recounted that when she became 21 years old, she was attempting to come to terms with her new reality as a billionaire.

The rapper from Atlanta, Georgia, disclosed that her admirers were constantly urging her to get more muscular.

She said,

“When I turned 21, I was just having money and living a new life. I gained a little weight and fans started making negative comments about my body. So I was a little scared about my body. I felt pressured to get a BBL.”

Latto rose to prominence after releasing her 2019 single “Bitch from da Souf,” which received double platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.

Upon signing with RCA Records, it was issued as the lead single for her debut studio album Queen of da Souf (2020), which performed moderately on the Billboard 200 and spawned the platinum-certified single “Muwop” (featuring Gucci Mane). In 2021, she was named as MTV’s “Global Push Artist of the Month”.

In 2023, she linked with Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido for the remix of “Unavailable”, Davido’s hit song with Musa Keys.

“Unavailable” is one of the songs on Davido’s widely acclaimed album, “Timeless.” The remix of “Unavailable” was produced by Magicsticks and Rage.
