Nollywood actress Zainab Balogun has disclosed the reasons behind keeping her private affairs away from the public eye.
She mentioned that the reason she refrains from sharing her private life on social media is to safeguard the people and things she holds most dear.
The married actress expressed a longing for the times when celebrities’ private lives were not exposed to the public eye.
On her X handle, Balogun wrote: “Take me back to the days when celebrities were mysterious and we knew nothing about their private lives.”
A fan then commended her via the comment section, saying: “One of the things I cherish about you is your private and family lives are not on social media.”
The thespian replied: “This allows me to protect the people and things I value the most.”
Balogun tied the knot with business mogul Dikko Nwachukwu, the founder of Jetwest Airways, in May 2018.
