Disc jockey and Big Brother Naija reality star Tolani Baj has shown her support for the troubled transgender person, Idris Okuneye, also known as Bobrisky.
She declared that she adores Bobrisky for his ability to play any gender at any given time.
The reality star talked in the trailer for the next episode of the podcast Bahd and Boujee, which she and actress Moet Abebe co-host.
“This is why I love Bobrisky, right? Bobrisky wakes up and plays a character; he, she, baby, whatever pronoun he likes,” she said.
Bobrisky, a self-proclaimed transwoman, admitted to being a man in court on Friday during his sentence for naira abuse and mutilation.
Recall that The Federal High Court in Lagos sentenced the controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, to six months in jail, with no possibility of a fine.
Justice Abimbola Awogboro convicted him after reviewing the facts of the case.
In his allocutus, Bobrisky stated to the court that he was unaware of the legislation regarding Naira abuse.
He said that he is a social media influencer with over five million followers.
The judge then told him that ignorance of the law was not an excuse.
He said, “I know, My Lord. My Lord, I wish that you could give me a second chance to use my platform to inform and educate my followers about spraying money.
“I would do a video on my page and I will educate people about spraying money.
“I will not repeat it again. I regret my actions.”
Earlier, Bobrisky was arraigned on four counts of naira abuse preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The cross-dresser who refers to himself as “Mummy of Lagos” pleaded guilty to the charges.
