The Nigerian musician Burna Boy, whose real name is Damini Ogulu, has spoken his opinions about doing podcast interviews.
Burna Boy claims that he is reluctant to participate in podcast interviews because he has doubts about the hosts’ competency.
Burna Boy underlined how crucial it is to have interviewers who are authorities in their domains.
He expressed his desire to be interviewed by experts who can offer knowledgeable commentary.
“I no dey for all those podcast/ ringlight level abeg. I be professional for my profession, na only professional for him own profession dey qualified to interview ODG,” he wrote via his Instastory.
However, Burna Boy expressed his willingness to make an exception for media personality Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
Burna Boy indicated that he would be open to a conversation with Ebuka, particularly to address recent issues.
“Ebuka still dey do all those interview?
I no like interview at all but I go like run 1,” he wrote.
