Grammy-nominated Nigerian musician Yemi Alade has claimed that two well-known media organizations, Cool FM and Clout Africa, have blacklisted her music since she didn’t attend their event.

The outspoken “Johnny” coroner vented her outrage on X (previously Twitter), saying that the stations had taken all of her songs down from their platforms.

Yemi Alade disclosed that this blacklisting has been ongoing for a year after she chose not to attend an event that the two media outlets were hosting.

She claims that she has apologized over the phone and over text message, but she has not heard back.

Her tweets targeted both Clout Africa and Cool FM, accusing them of being unreasonably harsh and unresponsive.

In a series of tweets, Alade criticized the stations and their leadership for holding a grudge over her absence.

She wrote:

“My God, BIG PASS YOUR WHOLE station @cloutafrica @CoolFMNigeria , keep on forming gate keepers and taking my songs down. NA GOD BE MY LABEL AND MANAGEMENT, we go meet for front. Fake people wey dey feel like small gods”.
