In recent times, the battle of supremacy between Tiwa Savage and Yemi Alade has become more intensified.
To kick start a fresh war, Johnny Crooner, Yemi Alade took to Twitter to throw shots at an unnamed person who according to her has been photo-shopping her bum to deceive her fans on social media.
Alade’s statement generated a lot of opinions on social media, with many wondering who she was referring to.
Hours later, Tiwa Savage who thought Yemi Alade threw a jab at her, wasted no time in replying her.She first took to her IG Stories to write a not-so-cryptic message saying she isn’t the one to mess with.
After facing countless backlash, Yemi Alade however took to her social media handles again pleading with all she might have dissapointed with her previous post. ‘I am truly sorry,’ she tweeted.
Recall that the Nigerian music scene isn’t new to rivalry among artistes. From Barrister Vs Kollington, Onyeka Onwenu vs Christy Essien Igbokwe, Femi Kuti vs Lagbaja, Davido vs Wizkid and now the recent one Yemi Alade vs Tiwa Savage, which seem to be the trending gist in the Nigerian entertainment scene.
The embers of rivalry was stoked by a Nigerian On air-personality, Misimolu who recently stirred the hornet’s nest when she said Tiwa Savage shouts whenever she sings.
She said: ”Personally speaking, I have heard Tiwa Savage, I heard her a couple of weeks ago and she shouts. But she (Yemi Alade) sitting right here, I can hear her range . I am just stating the fact this gets me in trouble all the time. She is here giving me goose bumps and I heard someone just a couple of weeks ago. Your range is quiet exceptional”.
