‘Your favourite artists are nobodies’ – Nicki Minaj replies critics

Rapper Nicki Minaj has finally responded to those who criticised her for only working with artists who have “no competition.”

According to reports, Nicki Minaj’s detractors have accused her of rejecting requests for collaboration from musicians she viewed as “competition.”

The “Queen of Rap” responded, stating that she has worked with every artist who has asked to be featured and that her detractors are merely suggesting that the talented musicians she has collaborated with aren’t deserving of a competition.

On her X handle, Minaj wrote: “Nicki only collaborates with…” Well, I guess your faves are all nobodies who can’t compete because they’ve all gotten the collab they requested.”

In another story, Nicki Minaj  hasrecently broken the record for the highest grossing tour by a female rapper in history.

The US-based Trinidadian hip-hop artist also broke the record for the highest-grossing concert by a female rapper in history on March 30, 2024, at Madison Square Garden in New York, taking home $2.858 million, according to American statistic business Touring Data.

With 220,000 tickets sold over its first 17 gigs, her “Pink Friday 2” tour has officially become the most profitable tour by a female rapper, earning $34.9 million.

Just 30% of the trip brought her $34.9 million. By the time the tour ends later this year, she should have made $100 million in revenue.

Remember that after a Nigerian fan objected to the continent of Africa being left out of the “Queen of Rap“‘s globe tour dates, the “Queen of Rap” stated she would think about adding Nigeria to her “Pinky Friday 2” tour if enough followers expressed interest.

Whether she will include Nigeria or any other African nation in the tour is still up in the air.
