The All Progressives Congress presidential candidate, President Muhammadu Buhari, has won 14 local governments out of the 18 local governments’ results declared so far by the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The Peoples Democratic Party presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar won the remaining four local governments.
Ogun State has 20 local government areas.
The Ogun State Collation Officer, the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Prof. Joseph Afuwape, declared the results at Presidential Election Collation Centre at the Independent National Electoral Commission headquarters, Magbon, Abeokuta.
The results released showed that Buhari polled highest number of votes in Ijebu Ode, Sagamu, Ijebu-North-East, Egbado-South, Odeda, Obafemi-Owode, Abeokuta-North, Ikenne, Abeokuta South, Ado-Odo/Ota, Ewekoro and Ifo local governments.
Atiku won in Remo-North, Ogun Waterside, Ijebu-North and Imeko-Afon local governments.
As at the time of filling this report, the results of the remaining four local governments were still being collated.
