Increase in Piety During Ramadan: K-RAD felicitates with Osun Muslims

Foremost governorship aspirant in Osun State under the aegis of All Progressives Congress (APC), ‘Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, popularly called K-RAD, has felicitated with Muslim faithfuls as they welcome the holy month of Ramadan urging them to increase in piety and love for one another.

This was contained in a press statement personally signed by K-RAD and made available to journalists in Osogbo on Wednesday.

According to the statement, K-RAD extolled the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan and enjoined Muslims to utilise the month to seek for Allah’s mercy and tranquility especially at this period when Osun is stepping nearer to another governorship election.

“Ramadan is indeed a blessing from Allah to mankind as it entails great benefits especially the night of destiny where it is established that with prayer and total submission to the will of Allah, a hitherto bad destiny will be changed to good. I, therefore, enjoin our Muslim brothers and sisters to use this opportunity to move closer to Allah and increase in the spirit of love as it is one of the cardinal points of Ramadan.”

K-RAD went further to posit that “Osun State is lucky this time around to have Ramadan before the gubernatorial poll. As we find ourselves in this critical period of electing a new leadership for the State, let us all use the opportunity of this holy month which is symbolic for fast acceptance of supplication to seek peace and tranquility for the State and ask Allah to grant our wish in giving us that able leader who will take Osun to greater height just as we have made a covenant with you since we started our quest to lead.”

The most favoured governorship aspirant under the flagship of the APC also advised Muslims to maximise the opportunities which abound in the month of Ramadan to attain a better status in the sight of Allah and take up all the good deeds prescribed in Ramadan as they get ready to drop all vices that may nullify their supplications and render in vain the 29/30 days of fasting.
