Sanwo-Olu announces discharge of 20 more Coronavirus patients

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday announced the discharge of 20 more coronavirus patients who survived the pandemic.

The governor, in a statement said those discharged included 14 male and six female from the Gbagada, Eti-Osa (Landmark) and Agidingbi Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

Sanwo-Olu said this brought to 928, the total number of Coronavirus survivors so far discharged by the state.

In his words: “Good people of Lagos, today, 20 COVID-19 Lagos patients; 14 males and 6 females, all Nigerians were discharged from our Gbagada, Eti-Osa (Landmark) and Agidingbi Isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients, 11 from Gbagada, 8 from Eti-Osa (Landmark) and 1 from Agidingbi Isolation Centres were discharged having fully recovered and tested negative to COVID-19.

“With this, the number of COVID-19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged in Lagos is now 928.”
