Tinubu commissions Ogba multipurpose retail market

The complex, situated at the popular Sunday market, in Ogba, was commissioned, recently, with many dignitaries in attendance.

Speaking during the commissioning, Tinubu, represented by APC Women Leader, Kemi Nelson, commended House of Representatives member, Abiodun Faleke, who was the first Chairman, Ojodu Local Development Area, for leaving a culture of service, which is being replicated by the current Executive Chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Engineer Julius Oloro.’’

The chairman, Ojodu LCDA, Engr. Oloro while eulogizing Tinubu, said, “The mega city agenda of Lagos State was a catalyst for infrastructural growth and development across the length and breadth of the state. This trend continued with successive administration in the state.

‘’Today we celebrate a new dawn in the lives of good people of Ojodu, the glorious dawn of community development accelerated through our vision of inclusive government.’’

The new shopping complex which cost about N3.5 billion occupies 6,000sqm of built-up area and 7,500sqm demountable partition of saleable space. It is a five-floor design. The first three floors are shops for assorted trading such as electronic, grocery stores, clothing, supermarket, fashion designing/tailoring etc. While the last two floors are multipurpose hall for events, eateries and business. The project was financed by Jubilee Life Mortgage Bank Plc.
