A. Danbagalaje(cassava cake)

Ingredients

 2 servings
  1. 2 cups cassava flour
  2. Grated onion
  3. Grated scotch bonnet
  4. Salt
  5. Seasoning
  6. Oil foot frying
  7. Lukewarm water

Cooking Instructions

    In a bowl add cassava flour,seasoning,salt,onion and bonnet

  2. 2

    Add water little by little to make a dough

  3. 3

    Tap with hand and fry in hot oil

  4. 4

    Serve with chili powder

B. White cassava flakes cake

Ingredients

  1. 1 cup cassava flakes
  2. Grated scotchbonnet
  3. Chopped onions
  4. Seasoning cube, curry, mixed spices
  5. 1/4 rspn of salt
  6. Vegetable oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    In a bowl, divide the cassava flakes into 3 portions

    Take two portion & add hot water to it

  3. 3

    Cover & allow it for 10mins

  4. 4

    The add the remaining portion of the cassava flakes.

  5. 5

    Add the grated scotch bonnet, chopped onions, mixed spices, curry, seasoning cube & salt, add 1 tbspn of oil, mix all together.

  6. 6

    Make sure it’s well mixed, take a portion of it & mold it in your palms with your fingers as the shape showed in the picture.

C. Cassava flour puff puff ❤️

Ingredients

 Infinity
  1. 1 cup Cassava flour
  2. 1/2 cup flour
  3. 1/2 cup water
  4. 1/4 cup sugar
  5. 1 tablespoon baking powder
  6. Butter
  7. Oil

Cooking Instructions

 40 min
  1. 1

    Mix Cassava flour and Flour together, add baking powder, sugar and mix thoroughly.

  2. 2

    Add butter,oil and water. Make a thick paste and fry till it’s golden brown.

D. Tapioca snack

Ingredients

 3 servings
  1. 3 Big cassava tubers
  2. 1 big coconut
  3. Water (for washing and cooking)

Cooking Instructions

 30minutes
  1. 1

    Peel cassava (remove the back) and cut into big slices

  2. 2

    Wash and add into a cooking pot, add water to the level of the cassava in the pot and cook for 25-30minutes

  3. 3

    Once cooked remove from the water and allow cool.

  4. 4

    Using your grater(the part for chips) or a clean knife, slice thinly in long strips until all the cassava are cut (if it’s sticky to the blades, dab blades with palm oil to stop it from being sticky)

  5. 5

    Add all the sliced cassava into a big bowl and add water way above the cassava this time. Allow sit overnight.

  6. 6

    By morning; wash the cassava thoroughly with clean water(you’ll notice it’s slimy) until it’s not slimy anymore and the water is now crystal clear

  7. 7

    Break up and remove the shells of the coconut, then wash thoroughly

  8. 8

    Serve coconut with the tapioca snack in cold water and enjoy

  9. 9

    Note: tapioca snack can be refrigerated, however always keep in in clean water and change water often until you’ve consumed it all

Ingredients

  1. Cassava
  2. to taste Salt
  3. Water to boil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Peel,wash put salt n put it to boil.

  2. 2

    Once ready serve with tomato/Tamarind chutney n enjoy with hot tea
