Nigerian comedian and ex-Big Brother Naija housemate, Aderombi Martin, widely known as Deeone, has revealed his intention to set a Guinness World Record by attempting the longest stand-up comedy performance.

Deronke revealed this in an Instagram video on Friday, noting that he is set to test the limits of his creativity with a 40-hour marathon performance scheduled for October 2 to 4, 2025, at Pallazo Lagos, Opebi, Ikeja.

The comedian further shared the update in a post featuring a flier designed in the style of a traditional burial poster, underscoring his signature comic flair.

The reality TV star, known for his controversial takes on social media and energetic live shows, embodies a deep passion for stand-up comedy and a drive to showcase Nigerian talent on the global stage.

The announcement comes just days after another former BBNaija housemate, Natasha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, unveiled her plans to set a Guinness World Record for the most makeovers completed in 24 hours.

Her three-day beauty festival is slated for October 10 to 12, 2025, at the John Randle Centre for Yorùbá Culture & History, showcasing the vibrancy of Nigeria’s growing beauty industry.

With these consecutive record-breaking attempts by ex-reality stars, October is shaping up to be a landmark month for Nigerian entertainment.
