JUST IN: Ibadan Stampede: Court grants bail to Ooni’s Ex-Queen, two others

Justice Kamorudeen Olawoyin of the High Court in Ibadan has granted bail to three individuals accused in connection with a food queue stampede that tragically claimed the lives of 35 minors in Ibadan, Oyo State, last December.

The suspects include former Queen Naomi Silekunola, Ibadan-based broadcaster Oriyomi Hamzat, and school principal Abdullahi Fasasi.

They are facing charges of conspiracy, causing death by negligence, acts resulting in harm, and failing to provide adequate security and medical facilities.
