Today, a group of 125 stranded Nigerians is expected to return to the country from Port Sudan.

Last month, a larger group of 2,518 stranded Nigerians was successfully evacuated from Sudan.

Following this, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) devised a mop-up operation to bring back those who were still stranded in Sudan.

According to reports, an aircraft operated by Tarco Airline departed from Port Sudan International Airport on Saturday, June 24, at 10:45 am carrying 125 Nigerian nationals.

The flight is scheduled to arrive in Abuja at approximately 5:45 pm Nigerian time.
