2023 Elections: INEC to deploy 146,913 observers
For the general election in 2023, 146,913 domestic and foreign observers will be deployed by INEC.
At the Tuesday INEC briefing for observers of the general election of 2023 in Abuja, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, said this.
The INEC chairman claims that there are the most observers ever in the history of the nation.

The commission accredited 33 overseas organizations that sent out 2,113 observers, as well as 196 domestic organizations that sent out 144,800 observers.
On election day, Yakubu asked the observers to carry out their duties in accordance with Nigerian law.
