2023: Fayemi attends Amosun’s presidential declaration

Kayode Fayemi, the Ekiti State Governor and presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress, was spotted on Thursday at former Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun’s, official presidential declaration ceremony.

Fayemi, who announced his presidential bid less than 24 hours ago, was spotted at Abuja’s Shehu Musa Yar’Adua Centre, which hosted Amosun’s presidential declaration ceremony.

At least three aspirants have declared their candidacy for the APC’s presidential ticket in the upcoming primaries scheduled for May 30 to June 1, 2022.

They include Godswill Akpabio, former governor of Akwa Ibom State, Adams Oshiomole, former governor of Edo State, and Ekiti State Governor Fayemi.

In a meeting with the President, Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday night, the National Leader of the APC and presidential aspirant, Bola Tinubu, said more aspirants reflects a healthy Nigerian democracy.

“The more the merrier,” he said.
