The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has instructed candidates enrolled for the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examinations (UTME) to print their examination notification slips.
In a statement released in Abuja on Thursday, the board’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, announced this development.
He mentioned that the notification slip for the 2024 UTME, containing details such as the examination date, venue, and time, is now available for printing.
“All candidates who have registered for the 2024 UTME scheduled to start on Friday, April 19, are urged to print their notification slips before the date.
“This is for them to know the date, venue, and time of their respective examinations, as well as some other vital information.
“To print the slip, candidates are to visit the JAMB website: www.jamb.gov.ng; click on “2024 UTME Slip Printing,” input their registration number, then click on print.
“The slip can be printed anywhere, provided there is an internet-enabled computer,” he said.
He further advised that candidates should ensure they print their notification slips on or before Friday, April 19.
This, he clarified, is to allow ample time for candidates to familiarize themselves with the location of their examination centers and prevent tardiness on their scheduled examination day.
It is worth noting that the 2024 UTME is set to commence on Friday, April 19, and conclude on Monday, April 29.
