Dr. Alex Otti, Governor of Abia State, has appointed mayors for the 17 council districts.
The list of nominees has been given to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation, according to the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Uzo Nwachukwu.
