A student of Regina Pacis Girls’ Secondary School, Garki, Abuja,  Miss Amaechina Chimbusonma Nwadiuto, may be suitably qualified for the National Merit Award after her spectacular performance in this year’s West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination, WASSCE, conducted by the West African Examinations Council, WAEC.

She received an A1 on each of the nine papers she took during the examination.

The girl applied to study medicine at the University of Abuja after receiving a 313 on the unified tertiary matriculation examination, or UTME, administered by JAMB.

Her mother, Mrs. Ijeoma Amaechina, commented on the development and said that the daughter had regularly held the top spot in her class since she was in primary school.

“She is the fourth child of the family and she likes to sing and makes friends. Apart from her natural talents, I can describe her as a goal getter. She puts her mind to whatever she wants to achieve.’’
