Afuye lauds Adaramodu’s decision to serve Ekiti

Coordinator of the Ekiti South Development Agenda(ESDA), Comrade Idowu Afuye, has described the decision of former General Manager of Guaranty Trust Bank, Kayode Adaramodu to contest for the number one seat in Ekiti State, as a welcome development .

Comrade Afuye who stated this in an exclusive chat with Newsclickng.com Correspondent in Ikere, said Adaramodu who has touched the lives of many youths and the elderly across the state and Nigeria at large, has the right leadership qualities to lead the state out of its present precarious situation.

According to ESDA Boss, Adaramodu, a philanthropist and Ilawe Ekiti born business guru, has through his various life-touching initiatives and development projects, gave some young Ekiti indigenes the opportunity to represent the country in an international youth football competition hosted by Sierra Leone in which the country’s Representatives, Ojoko Football Club performed excellently, adding that many of the players turned professional players plying their trades abroad with notable clubs after the tournamen.

Afuye reiterated that Ekiti South has quality people who can represent Ekiti well in any capacity in the country .

Adaramodu, a retired Banker and UK-based Consultant, is one of the Peoples’ Democratic Party(PDP), Governorship Aspirants that will be competing for the party’s only ticket during its forthcoming primaries in the state. He was an erstwhile Senatorial Aspirant in the district in 2011 but lost narrowly to Senator Sola Akinyede.

The seasoned politician who cannot stomach the current state of affairs including insecurity in the state, is offering himself, to serve his people through his selfless service to help improve the standard of living of Ekitikete and make the state attractive to foreign investors.
