An ambulance driver reportedly died after becoming trapped in traffic while transporting a patient in Lagos State, eyewitnesses said.
The incident reportedly occurred on Friday morning, September 18, 2026.
According to witnesses, traffic eventually eased, but the ambulance remained stationary.

Concerned motorists reportedly approached the vehicle and found the driver unresponsive.
The ambulance was said to belong to Swift Med Hospital. However, the identity of the driver and ownership of the vehicle could not be independently confirmed as of the time of filing this report.
The cause of the reported death also remained unknown.
