Annie Idibia, a Nollywood actress, has denied reports that she unfollowed her musician husband, 2Baba, on Instagram.
When it was discovered that the actress was no longer accompanying her spouse, various publications reported that the couple was having problems.
However, in a Monday post, the mother-of-two explained that the unfollowing was triggered by an Instagram issue, which led to the rumored disagreement with her husband.
she wrote on her Instagram story, “Jesu ooo. Na so una like bad news tire! Na wa o. Simple Instagram glitch, una don create story. Nigerian bloggers, I hail!
“Make una no dey let innocent lovers of a guy and I mind jump o!”
She also mentioned that the Instagram outage had lowered her amount of followers.
Instagram users have been complaining about the shifting numbers of their followers on the social media network for a few days now.
Annie announced the renewal of their marital vows to mark their 10th wedding anniversary two months ago, following rumors of a rift between Annie and 2Baba.
Annie and other well-known African celebrities were featured in the private ceremony, which aired on the reality TV show Rich, Famous, and African.
Annie had talked about how heartbroken she was when she found out 2Baba had children with two other women when they first dated on the show.
She revealed that her first child was 2Baba’s fifth, and that she had suffered a great deal of embarrassment as a result.
