A member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Tolu Bankole, has praised President Bola Tinubu for appointing Senator Ibrahim Hadejia and Femi Gbajabiamila to the positions of chief of staff and deputy chief of staff, respectively.

Bankole also commended former minister of special duties,George Akume’s selection as Secretary to the Government of the Federation.

The appointments were disclosed by the president during a meeting with the Progressive Governors Forum members on Friday.

He said, “Considering the sterling public and private sector profiles of all the appointees, which range from being Speaker of the House of Representatives to being a two-term governor and deputy governor, I have no doubt that the country will benefit immensely from their wealth of experience.

“The nation is yearning for an astute team of patriotic, selfless, visionary, and innovative statesmen headed by the president. I have no doubt that you will bring to bear these invaluable qualities in your new assignments.

“I am confident that you will add the baker’s dozen in deploying all your arsenals to help Mr. President deliver on his Renewed Hope mandate to Nigerians. I look forward to robust engagements with you on behalf of Persons with Disabilities who expressed confidence in the new leadership through the overwhelming support given to the President at the last presidential election. I wish you all success serving our dear country in good health,” Bankole remarked.
