Tuesday, the All Progressives Congress (APC) inaugurated Screening Committees for State House of Assembly candidates in all 36 states of the federations.
This occurs approximately two weeks before the party’s primary elections scheduled for May 30 preceding the 2023 general elections.

The committees, which was inaugurated by APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Senator Abubakar Kyari, is responsible for electing the ward and state delegates who will vote for the party’s governorship and presidential candidates.
According to committee members, there are more than 3,000 candidates for state house of assembly seats.
