Frederick Otemuyiwa, the chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State’s Ondo East Local Government Area, is dead.

In a statement released on Tuesday, the party’s state publicity secretary, Mr. Alex Kalejaiye, revealed this. However, he withheld the specifics of the tragic event.

He characterized the deceased as a devoted and commited party chieftain who worked tirelessly for harmony and peace within the party, particularly at the local chapter.

The statement read, “The party further describes the deceased as a very intelligent and articulate political figure, with apt and meaningful contributions during State Executive Committee meetings.

“It is very unfortunate that he has to leave when we all need his leadership, political experience, and rare mobilization skills ahead of the forthcoming general elections.

“We pray God to grant him eternal rest, and console his immediate family, the APC members, and entire Ondo East Local Government Area.”
