The All Progressives Congress has announced a change in the venue and timing of its National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting originally scheduled for Thursday, July 24, 2025.

National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Felix Morka, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

“The change of venue from the party’s National Secretariat – 40 Blantyre Street, Wuse II, Abuja to the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja is due to logistical reasons,” Morka said.

According to report, the timing of the NEC meeting is crucial, as the party is expected to endorse a successor to former National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who resigned in June due to health concerns.

His departure has left a leadership gap, with party insiders indicating that Acting Chairman Ali Bukar Dalori may remain in position until a formal elective convention is held.

The NEC is also expected to review progress reports from the Constitution Review Committee and assess the status of the party’s e-registration efforts in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
