The All Progressives Congress (APC) has fixed August 2 and 3 to hold its national caucus and national executive committee (NEC) meetings respectively.
Festus Fuanter, acting national secretary of the APC, announced the dates in a notice on Friday.
Fuanter said the call for the sit-down was pursuant to articles 12.5 and 25.2(i) of the APC constitution.
He said the president, vice-president, senate president, speaker of the house of representatives, national chairman, deputy chairs (north and south), national secretary, national legal adviser, national treasurer, national organising secretary, national youth leader, and national leader of persons living with disabilities are among those invited.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari and Yemi Osinbajo, the immediate past vice-president, are expected to be in attendance.
While the national caucus gathering will be held at the presidential villa, party leaders will converge in Transcorp Hilton for the NEC meeting the next day.
Initially, the national caucus and NEC meetings were billed to hold on July 10 and 11 respectively.
However, it was postponed because of the schedule of President Bola Tinubu who was recently elected as the chairman of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS).
