The Court of Appeal in Abuja has upheld Usman Ododo’s election as the Governor of Kogi State.
A three-member panel of the appellate court affirmed the decision of the Kogi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, which had validated Ododo’s victory in the November 11, 2023 governorship election. The court dismissed the appeal brought by the candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Murtala Yakubu Ajaka.
