Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was reportedly admitted to a hospital in Mexico City on Wednesday after experiencing symptoms consistent with a possible stroke.

As per a CNBC report, the 73-year-old scientist and tech entrepreneur had a scheduled appearance at a World Business Forum event in the Santa Fe neighborhood of the Mexican capital.

TMZ reported that Wozniak successfully delivered his speech at the event but later conveyed to his wife that he was experiencing unusual sensations.

Upon his wife’s insistence, he sought medical attention. While the specifics are unclear, TMZ suggested that Wozniak might have encountered vertigo, a condition characterized by dizziness and balance issues.

In 1976, Wozniak co-founded the nascent Apple Computer company, alongside his more renowned business partner, Steve Jobs, the esteemed investor, and longtime Apple CEO who passed away in 2011.

Their enterprise led the way in personal computing, eventually becoming the world’s most valuable company. Renowned for the design and functionality of various consumer electronics, including laptops, desktop computers, and the iconic iPhone mobile phone.
