Armed robbers attack bank close to Gov Oyetola’s hometown in Osun State

Armed robbers on Tuesday attacked a commercial bank in Iragbiji, Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.

According to reports, daredevil robbers stormed the bank located around the Oniyere area via the Palace of the hometown of Governor Adegboyega Oyetola around 3:12 pm.

It was learnt that the robbers were shooting into the air to scare the residents.

Police Public Relations Officer in the state, SP Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident.

Opalola said the police are on their way to the scene as at the time of filing this report.

The robbery incident is coming weeks after robbers stormed some commercial banks in the state.
