Army stops five trucks of cement along Nigeria-Cameroon border in Adamawa

Army officials in Adamawa have intercepted five cement trucks at the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

Hunmwashi Wonosikou, the spokesman for Adamawa State Governor Umaru Fintiri, made the announcement during a joint press meeting with the state government and the police.

According to him, after being intercepted, the trucks were turned over to the police, and investigations are underway to determine the legality of the movement along the Nigeria-Cameroon border.

Wonosikou stated that no stone will be left unturned in determining whether the vehicles were intercepted along the country’s border with Cameroon.

This development is part of the Adamawa State Government’s efforts, led by Governor Umaru Fintiri, to combat economic sabotage and alleviate people’s distress.
