Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Senate President Bukola Saraki have felicitated the founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, on the occasion of his 72nd birthday.
The two former government officials, in separate messages shared on their X accounts on Sunday, commended Oyedepo for his contributions to education, mentorship, philanthropy and human development.
Atiku described the cleric’s impact on society as deserving of recognition, while highlighting his efforts in establishing and developing institutions.
“I join family, friends, and well-wishers to congratulate Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide and Senior Pastor of Faith Tabernacle, Ota, Ogun State, as he marks his 72nd birthday,” Atiku said.
He added, “I sincerely honour his legacy as Chancellor of Covenant University and Landmark University, and his far-reaching contributions to education, mentorship, philanthropy, and human development.”
The African Democratic Congress 2027 presidential candidate further said Oyedepo’s “dedication to raising people and building institutions is worthy of celebration,” while wishing him good health and strength.
Saraki, meanwhile, praised Oyedepo for remaining firm in his beliefs and convictions over the years.
“I have always admired the courage with which the Founder of Living Faith Church Worldwide, Bishop David Oyedepo, stands by his convictions. He says what he believes, even when it isn’t the easiest thing to say, and through his ministry, so many people have found their faith,” Saraki said.
As the cleric marked his 72nd birthday, Saraki prayed for his continued wellbeing and many more years of service to the country and humanity.
“As he turns 72 today, I pray that God continues to keep him in good health and grants him many more years of service to Nigerians and humanity. Happy birthday, Sir,” he said.
