Three oil workers on the Bakassi Peninsula have allegedly been kidnapped by bandits who are thought to be members of the Biafra Nation League.
It was learned that the personnel were en route to work on Saturday morning when the tragedy occurred.

The attackers also stole the boat that was transporting the crew and their tools.
The victims’ whereabouts were unknown as of the time of this story, and the oil company is located in the Bakassi Peninsula’s Atabong area.
When contacted, SP Irene Ugbo, the state Police Command ‘s Public Relations officer, did not answer her calls or text messages.
