Passengers were feared dead in a boat mishaps along Duga Mashaya in Niger State and Wara in Kebbi State.
Musa Saidu, the Bargu Local Government Disaster Officer, verified the occurrence to Channels Television on Monday.
He stated that the event was reported to have occurred at 11 a.m.

The boat was supposed to be on its way to Kebbi’s Wara weekly market when it capsized.
He also stated that it was unclear how many passengers were on board the commercial vessel.
According to an unconfirmed account, five bodies were retrieved from the scene of the crash, and search and rescue activities have since been begun to recover the other passengers.
