BREAKING: Ex-APGA national chairman, Umeh, defects to Labour Party

Chief Victor Umeh, formerly the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, has switched allegiances and joined the Labour Party.

His defection comes just six days after he was defeated by Dozie Nwankwo, a member of the House of Representatives who currently represents the Anoacha/Dunukofia/Njikoka Federal Constituency. Nwankwo won the APGA ticket for the election.

Umeh, who served as the National Chairman of APGA for eight years, came up just short in his competition against Nwankwo for the APGA nomination for the Anambra Central Senatorial zone.

Umeh is currently contesting the ticket of the Labour Party for the Anambra Central Senatorial zone for the 2023 general election.
